We have created the theme song for the 2024 TBS baseball broadcast. I am honored to have this wonderful opportunity.
The song I wrote this time, “Kyoto feat. RYOKI from BE:FIRST,” is a collaboration song with RYOKI from BE:FIRST, whom I have admired for a long time. The combination of my voice and RYOKI’s skillful rapping and singing made it a very powerful song.
This is a song that I created with the intention of expressing the tension and passion of a sports match where you can’t decide whether to win or lose. I would be happy if I could encourage those who listen to it.
Also, I would be happy if this song was loved by many people and brought happiness to everyone involved.

■RYOKI (BE:FIRST) Comment
To be honest, I was surprised when I was asked about a collaboration song for the 2024 TBS baseball broadcast theme song. When I heard how syudou wanted to collaborate with me, I was honestly happy.
I have great respect for everyone involved in this song, and I hope that I can live up to their expectations with my explosive power and essence.

To everyone who listens to our songs
It’s a song that always has a high vibe throughout, but I think it’s developed to express a suspenseful feeling, almost like a sport, that you can listen to over and over without getting tired of it.
I think it’s a cheering song that will push you forward, like a drop kick to your back (lol), when you’re feeling stuck, so I’d like a lot of people to listen to it.

■Daishiro Kai (baseball broadcast producer) Comments
Last year was a year in which the world of baseball was exciting with the WBC and Japan Series, and the value and interest in the sport of baseball reached its peak. I believe that in 2024, baseball fans and children across Japan will have even more opportunities to watch live baseball games. I hope that this theme song will support that, and with the help of syudou and RYOKI, I would like to spread the wonders of baseball throughout Japan.
