Moments of tension in cCavour bear in Macerata for a suspicious yellow package positioned under a door next to the Koya restaurant. The Carabinieri intervened promptly and also alerted the Ancona bomb squad, who arrived on site around midnight.
The road was closed to traffic and all people who were curious or passed along Corso Cavour were asked to move 200-300 meters away. The bomb squad intervened with the appropriate robot to identify the danger. Inside it was locatedhowever, alone a battery without an explosive charge. A few minutes after the robot was activated, the bomb squad blew up the package to be on the safe side.
The military then proceeded to remove all the components for the necessary analyses. After about an hour the road traffic was reopened.
