There were around two thousand visitors, mainly students accompanied by their teachers, to the bibliographic exhibition on “The Enlightenment and the Encyclopédie”, the closing of which was extended until tomorrow to satisfy the request of numerous schools, hosted at the Provincial Library of Benevento.
This was made known by Dr Nino LombardiPresident of the Province of Benevento, and the lawyer. Giuseppe SauchellaSole Director of Sannio Europa, an in-house providing company of the Province of Benevento which manages and promotes the museum network in the Sannio capital, recalling that the initiative is part of the project for the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the Sannio Museum (1873-2023).
“In consideration of the numbers it recorded – say the promoters – the Bibliographic Exhibition on the Enlightenment will almost certainly be repeated in 2025”.
