Last weekend the 2nd round of the FCMTA archery league was held in Toledo at the facilities of the Águila Imperial Club. On Saturday, March 23, cloudy but with good temperature and no wind, it was the turn of precision with the compound bow and Olympic recurve bow. The Arcoclub las Lomas participated with two of its archers, Arantxa Serrano in the compound bow and Alfredo Serrano again took the Olympic recurve bow.
Arantxa Serrano along with 4 other participants from the region began the first round making some mistakes, although she was able to recover, but not enough and achieving Bronze together with Lucia Alejo de Toledo, gold and Ana Rodríguez silver. On the other hand, Alfredo Serrano participated in the veteran category. The first round was quite good, although he fell a little in the second. Finally, he would go up to the box in 2nd position, in 1st position Anselmo Pulgar from Toledo and in 3rd position the Tarancon player José Mª Párraga .
On Sunday it was the turn of the Traditional, Longbow and Desnudo, with weather similar to that of Saturday. On this occasion Arcoclub las Lomas participated with Mari J. Jaén and Alfredo Serrano who participated again this time both with the Longbow bow. Mari Jota achieved a spectacular result, with a very good score, but she could not surpass Almudena Barbas from Club Manzarco, who qualified in 1st place, Mari Jaén in 2nd position and Silvia Martin from Navalucillos in 3rd position.
Alfredo Serrano during the first half was in 2nd position and although during the 2nd half he dropped a little, he was able to maintain and consolidate the Silver alongside Jesús Blanco from Talavera who took the gold and José Antonio Hernández from Guadalajara with the bronze.
