With three children, their family planning was probably not yet complete: NBA star Stephen Curry and his wife are expecting another baby.

NBA star Stephen Curry (35) is becoming a father for the fourth time. Ayesha Curry (34), the basketball player’s wife, is expecting their fourth child, as she revealed in a cover story for her own magazine “Sweet July”. In the photos, the cookbook author can already be seen with a clear baby bump. They originally thought that their family planning had already been completed, as she herself reveals.

“I felt like someone was missing”

“For so many years, Stephen and I thought we were done. We said, ‘Three, that’s it, we’re not doing it again,'” she said. Last year, however, they realized that they wanted to become parents again. “For me, the decision came from looking around and feeling like someone was missing.” She missed someone else. “So we set out on the journey because we knew it would complete our family.”

The basketball star and the chef have been married since 2011. Her first daughter was born in 2012, followed by daughter number two in 2015 and a son in 2018. The fact that her three older children are witnessing the pregnancy is “the most exciting thing I’ve ever experienced,” says Ayesha Curry. “Their perspectives are so different.”
