The Ramblero socialists demand information from the local government group about the project, approved by the Cabildo, to build a multisport track in La Vera.
“The La Vera Multisport Court project was one of the 29 that, at the time, the Cabildo approved, in order to enable and energize spaces for the practice of outdoor sports in all municipalities. This multisport court, conceived as a space for games, meetings and multipurpose sports (basketball, handball, indoor soccer, tennis, volleyball, badminton…), suitable for the enjoyment of users of all ages, meant significantly expanding the offer. sports to the La Vera neighborhood, because it would allow the enjoyment of different sports within the same space and would make it possible to practice an enormous number of outdoor sports disciplines, all of them in the same place.
The former mayor, Ezequiel Domínguez, corroborates what was stated by the councilor of the Socialist Group area, Priscila Díaz, and adds to what she stated: “We fear that the project has been abandoned, preventing the Cabildo from acting as promised, which was to tender the administrative contract, charged to the Cabildo’s own budget, to carry out the actions included in the Multisport Court Program, through the execution of the installation of the La Vera multisport court, which involved the contracting of the supply and installation of the track and supervision jointly with the city council.”
The councilor urges the government group to “explain the status of the project and urge the Cabildo to do its job, because every day that passes is a mockery of a neighborhood, La Vera, which is waiting for improvements in its infrastructure, and work is underway. “He came to respond to the neighborhood demand” and adds “The lack of response from the City Council deeply worries us.”
In any case, both socialist leaders add, “the silence on this project from the current CC-SSP-PP rulers is very worrying, which suggests the worst.
