Former world number one Simona Halep returns to the tennis tour in two weeks at the WTA1000 tournament in Miami.
The 32-year-old Romanian received a wildcard for the hard court tournament in Florida, as she announced on Thursday.
Two days ago, the doping ban against Halep was reduced from four years to nine months by the International Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
The two-time Grand Slam winner had already served this between October 2022 and July 2023.
