Sebastian Ofner starts the ATP 1000 tournament in Miami on Thursday.

For the Styrian it’s about the first victory in March. At the Masters in Indian Wells, Ofner lost to Croatian Borna Coric in three sets, as well as last week at the Challenger in Phoenix. There he lost out to Frenchman Terence Atmane.
Number 40 in the ATP world rankings will meet Nishikori for the first time in his career. The Japanese reached the final of the US Open in 2014, where he lost to Croatian Marin Cilic. In recent years, the 34-year-old has repeatedly struggled with physical problems.
A knee injury has kept him out of action since the end of July last year, but he is celebrating his comeback in Miami. Nishikori received a wildcard from the organizers.
