Schlettauer Judoka Shine at Vogtland Cup in Rodewisch

On March 16th, 2024, 7 Schlettauer judoka traveled to the Vogtland Cup in Rodewisch. Around 200 U9 and U11 fighters competed against each other on a total of 5 mats. Thanks to the many mats and good organization, all fights were over by 3 p.m.

Alvin Cook (U9) celebrated his competitive debut with a well-deserved 1. Platz. He defeated his two opponents, stood on top of the podium and beamed as he accepted his gold medal.

Maxim Beyer (U11) won in the weight class up to 36.8 kg 2. Platz. He defeated 3 of the 4 opponents with Ippon and showed a beautiful Joko-Otoshi.

Marius Jansky (U11) also won it 2. Platz in the weight class up to 38.2 kg.

Emelie Binder (U9) got it 3. Platz and went home with the bronze medal.

Marek Hofmann (U11) also won in the strong weight class up to 26.9 kg 3. Platz.

Lea Braun (U11) was able to receive the certificate for the 4. Platz take home.

Elias Krause (U11) also had his competition debut and was happy to receive the certificate 5. Platz.
