The neo-yellow-blue also boasts several experiences with the Croatian youth national teams including the European Under 20 Championship in Bilbao in 2011. With the Senior National Team he participated in the European Championship in 2017.

THE STATEMENTS

Ivan Buva (player): “I am very happy to arrive in Verona and help the team in this final moment of the season. I will be one of the most experienced players, I will put all my passion and knowledge of the game at the service of my teammates from day one. Many battles await us and I can’t wait to get on the pitch to win every match.”

Alessandro Frosini (General Manager): “Given the lengthening recovery time of Kamari Murphy, we have decided to intervene on the market. Among the available players, the best profile was certainly Ivan Buva. The negotiation was very quick, also due to the player’s great desire to return to Italy and compete at a high level. He is an athlete who has always played championships in the first national leagues and European cups, certainly his experience and his quality will give us a big hand to conclude the clock phase in the best possible way and arrive ready and competitive in the playoffs. Technically he is a player who can give us a double dimension, he has excellent movements and readings in the low post but he can also play on the perimeter to open the court. I thank the Pedrollo family for allowing us to complete an important and necessary transfer operation at this stage of the season.”
