Santas, sixth in C3 individual pursuit at the Paralympic Track Cycling World Cup

MADRID, 23 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish Eduardo Santas achieved sixth place this Friday in the individual pursuit test of class C3 in the Paralympic Track Cycling World Championship, which is being held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), after setting a time of 3′ 30″078.

Thus, Santas showed a good level until finishing less than a second and a half away from entering the final for the bronze medal. Not in vain, the Australian David Nicholas finished in fourth position after having stopped the clock at 3’28″748.

The Spanish Damián Ramos, on the other hand, faced a scratch test dominated by Kevin Le Cunff during the afternoon session. In this sense, the Frenchman lapped the rest of the competitors, including Ramos who finished in fifteenth place.
