San Diego Padres Seek Revenge with a 15-11 Victory Over Los Angeles Dodgers

The San Diego Padres got their revenge on Thursday as they defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 15-11 in Seoul.

The day before, the Dodgers had defeated their Californian rivals 5 to 2 in the first game of the MLB regular season.

Mookie Betts was the man of the match, even if his team suffered defeat. Indeed, Betts had four hits with six RBIs and a home run, the first of the season in the majors.

Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani was pretty quiet with a hit and an RBI, the result of a sacrifice fly in the second inning.

For the Padres, Jake Cronenworth hit four times in as many at-bats, with four RBIs.

Manny Machado also hit the long ball, for the Padres, in the ninth inning.

Michael King (1-0) inherited the victory by pitching for three and a third innings, starting in the fourth inning. He struck out five Dodgers batters. Robert Suarez got his first protected victory this season.

For the Dodgers, the defeat went to the record of Yoshinobu Yamamoto (0-1), who was execrable in the first inning, allowing five earned runs on four hits.
