At the end of a hard-fought semi-final Rossana Pasquino managed to get through to the final by beating the Belarusian Kastsiuchkova by a single hit (15-14). In the final the Samnite athlete shows off her great grit and determination, making it the decisive match against the Turkish Van Achte 8-6, which allows her to win the title of European sword champion.
