Robin Veldman is a 38-year-old Dutchman who started his coaching career with the youth of Heerenveen and then went to work for Ajax.
From 2021 to 2023, Veldman was active at Anderlecht: as coach of the Futures, as assistant coach and for a few weeks as interim coach of the A-team.
This season he worked in Scotland for six months, now he returns to Belgium to succeed Nicky Hayen as coach of Club NXT.
The team is currently in 9th place in the second division. In a week and a half, Veldman will make his debut as coach in the home match against number 4 Dender.
Nicky Hayen switched to Club Brugge’s first team yesterday. He receives the dismissal of Ronny Deila.
