In January, Swiss tennis fans discovered a new player: Lulu Sun (22), who lives on Lake Geneva, qualified for the main draw at the Australian Open with three wins. The headline at the time was: “The next Swiss tennis hope speaks Chinese”. Sun graduated from US college (International Relations) in the summer of 2023, is now relying on former Bencic coach Vlado Platenik and is on his way to the top 100.
