Rising Star Caitlin Clark Shines in March Madness Sweet 16

New face of women’s basketball, Caitlin Clark is taking advantage of March Madness to make people talk about her even more. After a controlled first round, the Iowa star took his team to the Sweet 16 in a match that was tighter than expected.

West Virginia coach Mark Kellogg wanted “send away” Caitlin Clark. The latter responded in style: 32 points (8/22 shooting), 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 interceptions, all with the bonus victory 64-54.

If nothing was easy in this meeting, if there was clumsiness and frustration (Caitlin included), Clark could not let his opponent of the day win. Not for his very last match in front son Iowa public. Not the day she became the best NCAA scorer in a season (1,113 points, ahead of Kelsey Plum). Not in front of his father’s eyes. Not in the middle of March Madness.
