RFEF Denies Contract with Construction Company Gruconsa Amid Investigation by Civil Guard

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) denies having signed any contract with the construction company Gruconsa. Sources from the RFEF tell laSexta that “the contract was not signed, nor were the works started, nor was any payment made” to the construction company during the stage of the Management Commission and the presidency of Pedro Rocha.

This denial comes after we learned that the Civil Guard is investigating a contract of more than one million euros to the construction company Gruconsa that was awarded in the month of February for works in the Las Rozas Football City, as confirmed by investigation sources. to laSexta.

Gruconsa is the construction company run by Ángel González Segura, the brother of the one who was director of the legal services of the RFEF and who was arrested in the operation in which Luis Rubiales’s house was searched.

In the interrogations it has carried out, the UCO has asked about this contract and about others awarded to Gruconsa, such as that of the La Cartuja stadium, asking if through the payments there could have been a diversion of funds by the RFEF to companies of former soccer player Nene.
