“These duels are moved for organizational reasons and at the request of the rights holder in order to distribute as many matches as possible. This is possible because these matches no longer matter for playoff tickets.“, indicates the Pro League.
After Union and Anderlecht, Antwerp and FC Bruges validated their ticket for the Champions playoffs this weekend.
Four matches, those still having a stake in the race for the playoffs, remain scheduled for March 17 at 6:30 p.m.: Cercle Bruges – RWDM, La Gantoise – Charleroi, OHL – Mechelen and Westerlo – Genk.
Genk, Mechelen, Cercle Bruges and La Gantoise are aiming to qualify for the Champions Playoffs. Charleroi, Westerlo and OHL hope to escape the playdowns.
The playoff schedule will be known on Monday March 18.
