Reigning SoCon Champs Furman Paladins Begin Spring Practice, Honoring Fallen Teammate

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The reigning Southern Conference football champion Furman Paladins kicked off spring practice the final week of February.

Practices were delayed after the tragic loss of Paladin senior Bryce Stanfield.

Furman has 15 practices scheduled over the next few weeks, with the program’s annual Purple-White scrimmage set for Saturday, Mar. 16, at 1:00 p.m. in Paladin Stadium.

Furman finished a successful 2023 season with a record of 10-3 that featured the program’s 15th SoCon championship as well as an FCS playoff run that resulted in a semifinal loss at Montana.
