Regional Table Tennis Championships: Saint-Marceau Club and Metropolitan Disabled Sports Club Face Off

The table tennis players of the Saint-Marceau club, and those of the metropolitan disabled sports club (Chamo), who train all year round within the club, met on Saturday in Saint-Jean-de-Braye , for the third and final round of the regional qualifying competition for the French adapted table tennis championships.

Among the men, Touraine displayed its superiority in the vast majority of categories. Stéphane Bierre and Mathieu Michel nevertheless managed to do well by qualifying for the French championships. For girls, it’s the opposite, Loiret rose to the occasion by winning the majority of titles. Emma Durand as young people, Aurélie Brichet as seniors, and Christelle Coullon as veterans became regional table tennis champions. Hélène Dargent and Nathalie Boin, 3rd, complete the winning trio. Now on to the French youth championships, from May 14 to 16 in Petite Couronne and the French adult championships, in Auxerre from June 14 to 16.
