The Austrian wins Cornelia Huetterat his sixth career victory, who also surprisingly snatched the world title Lara Gut-Behrami which would have needed a tenth place to win it but instead only finished 17th. For Italy – in a race with a delayed start due to gusts of wind but with a hot sun and a soft track treated with salt which on long stretches of sliding favored the sliders and athletes with materials more suited to this snow – in the standings there are Then Federica Brignone 9th in 1’46″21, Laura Pirovano 12th in 1.46.40 e Marta Bassino 18th in 1’47″10. Tomorrow the 2023-24 World Cup ends with the men’s downhill.
