PSG: Luis Enrique will return to Twitch on Thursday

During the last 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Luis Enrique, then Spain coach, got into the habit of chatting live with La Roja fans on the Twitch streaming platform.

Since his elimination in the round of 16 of the World Cup, against the surprising Morocco, future 4th in the competition, he had put this mode of communication to sleep. The Parisian technician, known for his outspokenness, made a big announcement this Monday evening on X (formerly Twitter): his return to the platform.

The coach of the leader of Ligue 1 is therefore taking advantage of the international break to meet up with his fans, of whom there are nearly 800,000 following him. In his short video, Luis Enrique, with sometimes conflicting relations with the media, assured that it will be, as always, “a spontaneous and unfiltered discussion. »

“I’m coming back to my Twitch channel to talk to you about two things. The first, priority, is a project that I worked on with my family and that we want to share with you, the public. The second thing is to be able to communicate with you directly, in a direct way,” explained the Parisian coach, making an appointment for a first session this Thursday at 8 p.m.

During the World Cup, he spoke every evening (except on match days), remotely for more than an hour with the fans, equipped with a webcam, a headset and a microphone. The funds generated by his interventions were then used to finance an association fighting against childhood cancer. In 2019, his 9-year-old daughter Xana died after contracting bone marrow cancer.
