PSG: concern for Bradley Barcola, out injured with the French Olympic team

Bad news for PSG, coming from Châteauroux this Friday afternoon. While he occupied a place on the front of the attack with the Espoirs against Ivory Coast in a friendly, Bradley Barcola asked to leave after only half an hour, and was replaced by Wilson Odobert (28th ).

After which the Parisian winger was seen on the touchline, massaging the back of his left thigh, and in particular his hamstring. The young Parisian, who stood out once with a good header near the opposing post after five minutes, was apparently not injured during one action in particular. The fact remains that it is a concern for PSG, in view of the clasico in 10 days, or even the confrontation with FC Barcelona on April 10, depending on the severity of the injury.

“It’s annoying, because you don’t want to see your player get injured,” said Thierry Henry. “I had a little moment of uncertainty (when Barcola was injured), but we really try to pay attention to everything. And there was no alert for ‘Barco’. He gets injured with one blow,” he continued.

If Henry thought his injury was “light”, he did not risk giving a period of unavailability for his winger who must undergo initial examinations on Saturday morning in Châteauroux before leaving his teammates.

The French under-23 team plays its second friendly match in Sochaux on Monday, against the United States, also their first opponent during the Olympic tournament on July 24 in Marseille.
