As planned, with the organization of Judo from the San Martín Club and the support of the Municipality of Nueve de Julio, a Provincial Tournament of this discipline took place throughout Saturday, in the facilities of the aforementioned sports institution; instance that achieved notable sporting relevance.
The different categories participated, from the Little School to the veterans, throughout an entire day full of sporting spirit and camaraderie, this contest being the most important in the Province, with presentations by members of the National Team, the Uruguay and competitors from La Pampa, Córdoba and Entre Ríos.
There was also the presence of artisans and entrepreneurs, a complete canteen service and the possibility of collaborating with the Hogar del Niño through the donation of long-life milk.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Municipal Mayor, María José Gentile, accompanied by officials from her Cabinet, with the community leader being one of the speakers at the opening.
“I want to thank and welcome the different delegations that visit our city today, as well as the representatives of the organization and the San Martín Club for carrying out this wonderful event on July 9, which will always have its doors open to receive them and enjoy this competition that is a true source of pride for the city,” said the president, then giving way to the concepts of the president of the local Deliberative Council, Julio Bordone, who delivered a copy of the Resolution that declared the contest “Of Interest Municipal”.
