MILAN/LAMBRO BRIDGE – There will be twenty-six new meeting places and civic spaces intended for young people that will be created throughout the Lombardy region thanks to the ‘Sport & Youth’ initiative: growing together’ promoted by the Lombardy Region and by Sport e Salute SpA.
These are social innovation projects that promote youth leadership through the creation of places, within sports facilities and facilities, where both sporting activities and psychological assistance and support services, orientation, training courses will take place.
including professional training, aimed at young people aged 15 to 34.
Of the twenty-six projects eligible for funding, eight are in the province of Bergamo, three in the provinces of Cremona, Lecco and Milan, two in the territories of Brescia and Mantua, and one each in the provinces of Monza and Brianza, Pavia, Sondrio, Como and Varese.
In the Province of Como the financing will arrive in Ponte Lambro: it was in fact admitted and financed with 50 thousand euros for the project which sees the participation of the Municipality of Ponte Lambro together with four Sports Associations (ASD Judo Ponte Lambro, leader, ASD Pontelambrese, Associazione Tivogliofelice and Arroccolungo), three third sector bodies (TIC TAC Ponte Lambro, Lo Snodo and LUMiLHUB) and the Erbese Personal Services Consortium.
Great satisfaction was expressed by mayor Ettore Pelucchi: “It is a project that promotes the protagonism of young people aged 15 to 34 and which will connect the spaces of Villa Guaita, Erba station and the sports facilities of Ponte Lambro, including the new and attractive skatepark. A new and great opportunity available to the associations of Ponte Lambro to involve the young people of our area in their initiatives”.
