ISTANBUL (AA) – In the 5th week of Group K of the last 16 rounds of the Basketball Champions League, Pınar Karşıyaka was eliminated from the tournament by losing 88-79 away to the Spanish team Lenovo Tenerife.
Completing the first quarter of the match at Santiago Martin Arena with a 22-21 lead, the Izmir team went to the locker room trailing 42-41.
Lenovo Tenerife widened the gap in the second half and won the match 88-79, after leading 70-62 in the last quarter.
Having suffered its 4th defeat in the group, Pınar Karşıyaka lost its chance to advance to the round before the last matches.
