The Philadelphia 76ers have reached an agreement with free agent Kai Jones on a temporary contract for 10 days, Adrian Wojnarowski’s sources confirmed ESPN.
It should be remembered that the Charlotte Hornets fired him in October 2023 after some strange publications through their social networks in which he ended up requesting his transfer from the North Carolina franchise.
Jones, trained at the University of Texas between 2019 and 2021, came to the NBA with the 19th pick in the 2021 Draft, being selected by the Knicks, but immediately transferred to the Hornets of then Mitch Kupchak.
In his NBA career he has played 47 official games with averages of 2.7 points and 2 rebounds and just 9.1 minutes per day.
