PGA Tour, Valspar Championship Malnati winner ahead of Young

Sunday evening concluded the fourth round of the Valspar Championship in Palm Harbor, concluding the Florida Swing. At the end of the suspense, Peter Malnati won ahead of eternal second Cameron Young.

Battling with Cameron Young at the top of the leaderboard, the winner of the Sanderson Farms Championship in November 2015 waited for the par-3 17th to make the difference by sending a nice put-in to less than two meters from the mast. Peter Malnati then validated his fifth birdie of the day and therefore took the leader’s seat alone. At 18, the American did not tremble when negotiating a final exit from the bunker to secure par and make a card of 67 synonymous with victory (-12 total).
