PGA Tour, Texas Children’s Houston Open Final on fire, cut crossed for Perez

Course record equaled by Tony Finau (62) to take the lead (-9), end of series of rounds under par for Scottie Scheffler after a lunar three putts (4th, -5), Top 20 for Victor Perez who will therefore play this weekend (-2). These are the lessons from the second round of the Texas Children’s Houston Open, played at Memorial Park Golf Course.

Already third in the Puerto Rico Open at the beginning of March, Victor Perez seems to be getting into the rhythm of the PGA Tour, adapting to the course requirements on which he has very few benchmarks and references. With one shot, Paul Barjon (+2) would also have played this weekend but he struggled to finish (three bogeys against a single birdie over the last six holes). The regrets are less for Martin Trainer (+4), after two cards of the same ilk (72).
