Persib vs Persija, Maung Bandung Confident, Hope for Bobotoh’s Support

KOMPAS.com – Persib Bandung coach, Bojan Hodak, is confident that his squad can win the match against Persija Jakarta later.

Persib will host Persija in the 28th match of Liga 1 2023-2024 at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency, on Saturday (9/3/2024).

Bojan admitted that he had high confidence to face the Kemayoran Tigers.

Persib’s confidence comes from winning the previous two matches.

Maung Bandung managed to win the match against PSIS Semarang and RANS Nusantara FC.

Bojan’s team recorded close wins with a score of 3-0 over PSIS Semarang and 4-0 over RANS Nusantara FC.

These two wins are strong capital to lighten Persib’s burden in the match against Persija later.

Bojan said his team had played well in the previous two matches against PSIS Semarang and RANS Nusantara FC. He also believes that his players have continued to develop since the last four matches.

“Everything becomes easier when we can win. In the last four matches, we played well and in the last two matches we won 3-0 and 4-0 against good teams,” said Bojan, quoted from the official website of the Persib Bandung club.

Even though he has achieved several wins, Bojan still asks his team to use this as additional motivation for the next match.

“Of course this makes everyone gain confidence. Facing Persija, we already understand what motivation is being put forward,” said the coach from Croatia.

The 52 year old coach also hopes for direct support from Maung Bandung supporters.

He wants Bobotoh to be present at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in order to host Persija later.

“I just hope that we can play with the support of the supporters,” he said.
