USAP beat Toulouse (27-17) this Saturday evening at home, for the 18th day of the championship.

The USAP did not tremble on its grounds. The Perpignans brought down Stade Toulousain (27-17) this Saturday evening at Aimé Giral, at the end of the 18th day of the Top 14. More incisive and dominant from the start, the Catalans, through their half Australian opener Jake McIntyre, got the better of the young Toulouse team in the evening.

End of series for Toulouse

For this last doubles match, in parallel with the Six Nations Tournament, Ugo Mola once again placed his trust in his young class, who had impressed during the successes in Clermont (37-33) and in the derby against Castres (33 -6). Nothing happened this evening. Despite an incisive Paul Costes and a once again decisive Mathis Castro-Ferreira, the Toulouse team left Aimé Giral with their hands in their pockets.

The Haut-Garonnais missed out on the defensive bonus by little and saw their series of six consecutive victories in the championship come to an end. The Rouge et Noir also missed the opportunity to take the lead in the Top 14 after the defeat of Stade Français in La Rochelle (23-3) earlier in the day. For their part, the Perpignans remain stuck in penultimate place but sign a seventh victory in a row at home.
