The Pamplona Paula Beorlegui Osés signed an excellent performance in the Riga European Cup and, after almost reaching the final after a brilliant tournament, he ended up winning the bronze medal within the weight of -52 kilos in the Latvian appointment. Is he second senior podium in a continental event for the judoka from Pamplona, ​​20 years old (VIII-6-2003) and who occupies 198th place in the world ranking, after the bronze achieved last year at the European event in Malaga and the runner-up achieved in the Birmingham Junior European Cup in June 2023.

Beorlegui could not surprise his rival, who achieved two decisive ‘waza ari’, and faced the fight for el bronze before the Italian Alessia Tortorici. A rival whom he surpassed, with an ‘ippon’ after signing a ‘waza ari’ in 2:28 of combat.
