Patrick Mahomes Wins Third Super Bowl MVP as Chiefs Defeat 49ers in Dramatic Super Bowl LVIII Victory

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was named Super Bowl LVIII MVP following a dramatic 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

This is the third time in his career that Mahomes has received this honor. He also obtained this title in 2020 and 2023.

“It means a lot to me,” Mahomes said at the microphone of CBS after the game. I’m so proud of my teammates. It’s incredible, legendary! »

He guided his team to the victorious push in the final seconds of overtime when he made a short pass to Mecole Hardman with three seconds left on the board.

“Mecole Hardman has faced adversity this year. He’s special,” added the Chiefs quarterback about the man who scored the winning touchdown.

Mahomes was true to himself with gains of 333 yards with 34 completions in 46 attempts. He threw two passes for touchdowns and was intercepted once.

He also carried the ball nine times for gains of 66 yards.
