Pan American Under 15 Baseball Championship: Game between Cuba and Venezuela postponed due to nightfall

Just when the seventh inning had concluded with both teams tied 7-7, nightfall at the Baseball City Complex in Boca Chica forced the organizers to postpone the conclusion of the game to this Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. local.

The disciples of mentor Alexander Urquiola and the Venezuelan team will have to resort to the Schiller Rule to decide.

Shortly after finishing this match, the Cubans will face Guatemala around 2:00 p.m. local time and will finish the qualifying phase on Wednesday against Nicaragua.

Group A includes the teams from Brazil, Argentina, Panama, Mexico, Bahamas and the Dominican Republic, and group B includes the teams from Cuba, Peru, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Guatemala and Nicaragua.

The three best teams in each group will qualify for the final round, which will take place on Thursday the 21st starting at 10:00, local time.

Cuba reached the fourth day of competitions with a victory, a loss and the match to be decided with Venezuela.

On Saturday the Cubans beat Peru 13-2 in their debut in the Pan American Under 15 Baseball Championship that will give five places for the world championship in this category, and on Sunday they lost to Puerto Rico 5-6.
