In addition to the regular project application, every Kerkrade (sports) provider (who has not done so in 2023) can submit a one-time abbreviated application for a financial contribution. You can then use that contribution, for example, to organize a tournament for the neighborhood with a clinic by a well-known player. Or a game of ‘Glow in the dark’ football or badminton…
It is also still possible to submit a project proposal for one of the main themes within the sports agreement: including sports and exercise, growing up in a sporty way, vital providers and offerings, cooperation and visibility and socially safe sports.

The theme of ‘socially safe sport’ is a new theme that has received more attention nationally since the recalibration of the sports agreement last year.
