Olympic Week Brings Life to Dammarie Village with Exhibition and Sporting Activities

Dammarie. DAMMARIE/ (March 29 and 30): Olympic week will bring life to the village.

The municipality of Dammarie is organizing an Olympic Week. An exhibition “The history of games: ancient games, modern games”, made up of twelve kakemonos, will be installed at the ABD media library, from Tuesday March 26 to Sunday March 31. An exhibition of the Departmental Olympic and Sports Committee of Eure-et-Loir is also scheduled, and two days of sporting activities on Friday March 29 and Saturday March 30, in partnership with local clubs.

Olympic and Paralympic activities will be offered in particular by the French Cub baseball and Chartres handisport. Alexandre Monnier, technical manager of the Dammarie football club, underlines: “The objective is to introduce children from the town and surrounding towns to new sports, to interact with people with disabilities, and also to allow for certain adults, if they wish, to practice one of these sports. »

Saturday March 30, at noon, Sébastien Gardillou, assistant coach of the French handball team and several times Olympic medalist, will talk about his career.
