Nuno Espirito Santo Criticizes Premier League Officiating Again After Nottingham Forest Loss

Nuno Espirito Santo has again bemoaned the officiating in the Premier League after Brighton & Hove Albion’s Jakub Moder was not sent off during yesterday’s 1-0 loss for Nottingham Forest.

Moder was instead shown a yellow card for his second-half challenge on Neco Williams by referee Michael Salisbury, a decision VAR Craig Pawson did not find fault with.

“We won against West Ham, they didn’t give us a penalty — a clear one, why?” Nuno said after the defeat. “Why Paul Tierney gave possession to Liverpool? Why against Newcastle we had a penalty and they didn’t give (it to) us?

“Please someone tell me what’s going on, because why always us?”

The result leaves Forest 17th in the Premier League, three points above Luton Town having played a game more than the Bedfordshire side.

“It’s honestly getting ridiculous,” midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White added. “Honest to God, it’s getting ridiculous. The amount of decisions that have gone against us this season is outrageous.

“I don’t want to speak too much because I could get into trouble but there’s so many things I want to say. In two days’ time we’ll be getting an apology again.”
