A source confirmed to ESPN that NFL owners will vote to make Cal McNair the primary owner of the Texans.

NFL owners are expected to Vote Tuesday morning.
Bob McNair, the former owner of the Texans, died in November 2018. His wife, Janice McNair became the main owner of the Texans and is one of the 10 women who are the main owners.
After his father’s death, Cal took over the Texans’ daily football procedures and has represented the team at owners meetings in Janice’s place.
The expected vote, which was first reported by The Houston Chronicle, does not mean the team is available for purchase, as a source revealed to ESPN that the Texans are not for sale and “they have no plans for that.”
If the other NFL owners vote for Cal, he will continue to lead the franchise as he has for the past five seasons. The Texans are 31-51-1 since then.
News of the vote comes after the end of a case filed last month by one of Janice’s children seeking to have her declared incapacitated and appointed a guardian. Robert Cary McNair Jr. had filed his request to appoint a guardian for Janice in November with the probate court in Harris County, where Houston is located.
But on February 26, Cary McNair’s attorneys, along with others involved in the case, filed a motion in which they agreed to jointly withdraw the lawsuit.
