New York Knicks Dominate Brooklyn Nets in Third Rivalry Match of the Season

NBA evening began on Saturday with the third episode of the New York derby. And, for the third time this season, the New York Knicks, fifth in the Eastern Conference, won at home against the Brooklyn Nets (105-93), ranked 11th. They continue their good series and are now with five victories in their last six matches. The Nets continue to suffer, with this sixth setback in a row.

The Knicks, however, had to wait until the last quarter to break away (92-80, 40th), on a three-point shot from Donte DiVincenzo. The Knicks guard was the best scorer of the match, with his 31 points (12/24 shooting including 4/13 three-pointers). Miles McBride was also decisive (26 points). Jalen Brunson scored 17 pts. New York was once again without Julius Randle, injured in his shoulder.

For their part, the Brooklyn Nets struggled with Cam Thomas (19 pts), Mikal Bridges (18) and Cameron Johnson (13). The two teams will play again on Monday (the Knicks against Detroit and the Nets in Toronto).
