New York Jets Star Sauce Gardner Addresses Comments About Jewish People Made During Live Broadcast

Gardner said a comment he made about Jewish people is “not what I do” and praised people for educating him about what it meant.

New York Jets star cornerback Sauce Gardner on Tuesday addressed comments he made about Jewish people during a live broadcast last weekend.

Popular streamer Adin Ross, who is Jewish, was discussing how he was sold a Tesla Cybertruck because of his ethnicity, when Gardner, among a group of people, intervened.

“I’m going to be honest, there’s no weird, funny stuff,” Gardner told Ross. “You all run the world. You have so much movement all over the world… You have to see how you walk in the airport.”

Gardner was criticized by some for the comment, leading to his response on social media on Tuesday.

“I love all people,” he wrote on “They made the decision. It’s time to educate myself on that fact.”

Ross claimed he was not offended by what Gardner said.

Gardner is entering his third season with the Jets. The fourth overall pick in 2022 has been a first-team All-Pro in his first two seasons.
