New York Jets Bolster Offense with Addition of Mike Williams as They Gear Up for Super Bowl LIX

The New York Jets are looking to be candidates to compete in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans and that is why they are betting everything to get the best possible free agents. The most recent addition was wide receiver Mike Williams.

According to the report of NFL Networkthe Jets gave him a one-year contract that can reach up to $15 million based on different incentives to catch passes from Aaron Rodgers in the 2024 NFL season.

During the last two seasons, the wide receiver lost prominence in Los Angeles due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee. Williams only played three games in 2023, catching 19 of 26 games thrown his way and generating 249 yards with one touchdown.

The Clemson University graduate finished his journey with the Chargers within the Top 10 in receiving yards with 4,806. For his career, Williams caught 309 passes and managed to visit the end zone 31 times.
