Gumi City opens the Deulseong and Gangdong Sports Center on the 1st, where you can enjoy daily sports such as swimming, fitness, yoga, and badminton in one place.
Gangdong National Sports Center, which was selected in the 2017 Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s life-friendly national sports center support project contest, has a total project cost of 13.7 billion won, including 3.8 billion won in government funding, and Deulseong Life, which was selected in the 2018 Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s sports promotion facility support project contest. The sports center was recently completed after three years of construction, with a total project cost of 16.5 billion won, including national and provincial funds.
These sports centers have a swimming pool with 6 lanes at a distance of 25m, shower rooms, changing rooms, a gym, and a GX room. Deulseong Life Sports Center also has a space where you can enjoy badminton, volleyball, and basketball.

The city plans to meet the growing demand for sports from citizens by improving public sports services, supplying balanced sports facilities by region, and operating various programs for each sport.
