Having replaced the Ligue 1 Trophy during the 2006-2007 season, the Hexagoal, the cup awarded to the winner of the French championship, will be awarded for the last time this year. According to information from the newspaper Le Parisien, the trophy will change design from next season.
This is part of the LFP’s approach to creating a new visual identity for the L1, after the change of logo announced this Wednesday (see here). Olympique Lyonnais was the first, will Paris Saint-Germain indeed be the last club to lift Hexagoal?
