Lukas Nemecz finished the Singapore Classic in eleventh place thanks to a final round of 68 on the par-72 course. The Styrian was the best Austrian with a total of eleven under par in Singapore. Bernd Wiesberger ended up one shot behind him in 16th place. Matthias Schwab, who was fifth the day before, fell in the rankings on Sunday. After a 77 he had to settle for 43rd place.
Nemecz was satisfied with the quality of his shots, “because last year the long game just wasn’t at the level that I’m used to or expect from myself.” A lot of things are going in the right direction. “Above all, I came eleventh and yet, I would say, I left a lot behind.”
