Colorado (46-20-5) shares the top spot in the Central Division with the Dallas Stars as they prepare to face off against the Montreal Canadiens at Ball Arena on Tuesday (9 p.m. ET; ALT, TSN2, RDS).
In the 2018 NHL Draft, Annunen was chosen as the 64th pick by Colorado. He has played 12 games (11 as a starter) across three seasons, with a record of 7 wins, 3 losses, and 2 shutouts. His goals-against average is 2.85 and his save percentage is .908.
On Tuesday, Justus Annunen agreed to a two-year deal with the Colorado Avalanche. The exact financial details were not revealed.

During an appearance on the “DNVR Avalanche” podcast, MacFarland stated that NHL goalie Pavel Francouz is unlikely to return to the ice due to a lower-body injury he suffered in the previous season.
Annunen had the option to become a restricted free agent on July 1st.
