NBA Recap: Giannis Antetokounmpo Returns, Nikola Jokic’s Triple-Double, and More!

Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to the Milwaukee Bucks quintet this Thursday in his team’s victory against the Brooklyn Nets and Nikola Jokic signed another triple-double in the Denver Nuggets’ victory against the New York Knicks.

WIZARDS 109 – 102 KINGS

The Washington Wizards (12-58) surprised the Sacramento Kings (40-29) led by Kyle Kuzma who had 31 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.

For the Kings, who overcame two deficits of -19 and -16 but could not finish the effort, the top scorer with 25 points was De’Aaron Fox. Domantas Sabonis achieved his 52nd consecutive double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.

With their loss to the Wizards, the worst team in the league, the Kings lost sixth place in the West, the last one with direct access to the playoffs.
