Members of the National Police, led by General Jacobo Mateo Moquete, Sports Commander of the law enforcement institution, headed on the morning of this Holy Saturday to the La Zurza sector, in the National District, where they delivered flannels and basketballs to the celebration of a tournament for children and adolescents in support of the “De Vuelta al Barrio” program.
The initiative, promoted by the general director of the National Police, Major General Ramón Antonio Guzmán Peralta, seeks to strengthen ties between the Police and the community, as well as provide recreational spaces and healthy entertainment for the residents of the aforementioned town.
This sporting event had the active participation of children and young people from the community, promoting social integration and sportsmanship.
The presence of police members in this tournament demonstrates the institution’s commitment to the well-being and comprehensive development of citizens in collaboration with other sports authorities in this sector.
