National coach Michael Kohlmann firmly believes that Germany’s top player Alexander Zverev will one day celebrate a Grand Slam triumph. The 26-year-old Olympic champion from Hamburg is now entering his “prime tennis age,” Kohlmann told the Donaukurier: “That’s why he will be one of the extended favorites at every Grand Slam and will also win his first Grand Slam title at some point.”

The title in the Davis Cup is also a big goal for Zverev, Kohlmann added: “And we’ve all been pursuing that for 31 years now.” From September 10th to 15th, the German team will play in Zhuhai, China, for a place in the knockout rounds in Malaga.
