N3 BC Kemperle aims to maintain second place in crucial match against Saint-Grégoire

N3. BC Kemperle – Saint-Grégoire, this Saturday at 4 p.m.

Second in the N3 championship, the Quimperlois are not aiming for first place but to maintain it. “We have had such an incredible season that with two days to go, even the leader, Saint-Jacques de la Lande, is not sure of holding on. Everyone only thinks about maintaining. We are second but only two points better than the first relegated team,” underlines Jacky Hamoniaux, president of BCK.

Towards maintenance

If La-Chapelle-sur-Erdre is already promised sixth and last place, everyone else wants to avoid fifth place. “Normally the fifth will be relegated, unless it is among the best fifths of the twelve groups of N3”. In a championship where almost all matches ended in a 4-4 draw or a narrow 5-3 victory, the members of group 7 of N3 broke records for points. “Normally, the fifth should still manage to hold on” estimates Jacky Hamoniaux.

End the season well

The only place giving access to the dams for the N2 climb also remains accessible. “All five teams can achieve it, but for us the priority is already to maintain. We are going to play Saint-Grégoire on Saturday for a match which still promises to be very close. For us, the objective is to remain undefeated in the return group” announces Jacky Hamoniaux who is expecting a large audience in the Quimperlois chadron des Cordiers, this Saturday afternoon.
