more than a hundred additional magistrates by 2027 in New Aquitaine

The figure of 1,500 recruitments of magistrates by 2027 was already known. The Minister of Justice Eric Dupond Moretti announced this Thursday the breakdown of these job creations. The allocation for New Aquitaine should exceed a hundred magistrates and as many clerks. A figure reached solely within the jurisdiction of the courts of appeal of Bordeaux (45 magistrates and 47 clerks distributed among the judicial courts of Bordeaux, Libourne, Angoulême and Bergerac and Périgueux), Pau (22 magistrates and 31 clerks distributed among the judicial courts of Bayonne, Dax, Mont-de-Marsan, Pau, Tarbes) and Poitiers (33 magistrates and 39 clerks spread across the judicial courts of La Rochelle, Saintes, Poitiers La Roche-sur-Yon, Niort). The largest beneficiary, Bordeaux will accommodate, between the judicial court and the appeal court, 26 additional magistrates and 28 clerks. La Rochelle will receive four magistrates, Saintes will receive five, Pau will have three, Mont-de-Marsan and Dax four each. There will also be seven magistrates in Agen.
